- * An additional assignment was given when two attempts to launch a satellite
- for Gemini 6 to dock with, failed. Astronauts Walter M. Schirra Jr. and
- Thomas P. Stafford, flew Gemini 6 within 1 foot of Gemini 7.
- The two capsules practiced station-keeping for 5 hours at distances from 1 to
- 295 feet.
- Gemini 6 was launched on December 15 and Splashdowned on December 16.
